AI Usage Policy

You are working directly with me, Molly Seabrook.
I use AI extensively, primarily for business administration, including market research about your book.
I do not use AI for concepting book covers or image creation.
Everything that reaches you has been read, judged, and approved by me.

At the outset of our work together, we share an NDA as part of the Strategic Publishing Diagnostic.
All of the AI tools that I use are paid, professional accounts set to the highest privacy and security settings. No content is exposed to LLM training.

It depends. This is part of why we developed the Strategic Publishing Diagnostic. Your manuscript is read by both a librarian and an editor, because working with AI-assisted manuscripts is a weird, new, hard-to-describe challenge.
They are often technically correct, and disappointingly flat. The editorial work to get back the thing that makes them human, interesting, and readable is difficult to estimate.
I think my answer to this question will remain, "It depends," for quite some time.
